Congratulations, the most creative booth goes to: Buzzcart! We couldn’t be happier. Our creative team assembled an eye-catching backdrop and looped PowerPoint presentation for the annual Prince William Connections Trade Show.

The concept was to keep it very simple. Buzzcart creates online shopping carts. This topic and all the features can be overwhelming. The strategy was to immediately convey the service upfront and easily explain that anyone can increase their sales floor and have a professional, branded shopping cart added to their website. A pre-show mailing reminded visitors about the trade show appearance. Matt Zarbatany and his team have already signed on new clients from the show.

Thanks to everyone who came out for our “Your Logo is Not Your Brand” presentation at the Prince William County Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce - November 5th, après Vote 2008. Whether you are happy with the vote outcome or just now coming to terms with it, you have to admit, Obama’s team built a better campaign. According to Advertising Age –“The key was not just having the right advertising, correct strategic decisions, a precedent-breaking get-out-the-vote effort or an amazing ability to raise funds. It was the mastery of coordinating those individual elements.”
Take note they did not just say "he ran good commercials" or "had great print ads"; it was many diversified elements working in tandem. Obviously we don’t all have the deep pockets to buy network time on several stations at once, but the lessons learned about research, paying attention to your audience, multiple touch points and more can be applied to any enterprise.
You are invited!
Speaking of the right mix. Please come out for fun evening in support of a great cause. Jerole, along with others in the business community will become “celebrity” bartenders to raise funds for the community service program, Be a Santa to a Senior, sponsored by HomeInstead Senior Care.

Silver Linings
Gas is less, stocks are a bargain. The vacation home you thought you'd never afford is now affordable. While other companies pull back on their advertising it gives you the opportunity to be noticed. Focus your message on real value for the dollar and how clients and customers will benefit from your service or product. A "we are cheap" message will linger even when you want to raise your prices.
Smaller banks are sliding into the marketing voids left by the big guys. Their ad messages are upbeat and forward-thinking.

Smile On
In addition to pitching value over luxury, retailers are also using humor and reassurance to take the edge off the barrage of gloomy news. Many organizations are also boosting sales for the greater good by donating their dollars based on your dollars spent. It's another way to feel good and do good at the same time.
